Walk for Parkinson's

This year, Walk for Parkinson’s is raising money for our Nurse Appeal again, which helps fund new nurse posts and specialists, and deliver extra training in Parkinson’s to healthcare professionals. All to help people with Parkinson’s live well with the condition. 

The Nurse Appeal, which aims to raise £9 million in 3 years, could fund 25 nurses, 30 allied health professionals and 6 clinical fellowships, increasing the Parkinson’s specialist workforce by 10%. This will give thousands of people with Parkinson’s access to the specialist care they need.

You can login to your fundraising page here by entering your details into the member login section.

You can adjust your fundraising target by logging in to your fundraising page and clicking ‘Edit my page’. You’ll then see the option to change your fundraising target.

There are a few different ways you can send in any offline donations:
- You can pay them into your online fundraising page yourself.
- You can send in a cheque (made payable to Parkinson’s UK) along with a note detailing your name and what walk you took part in, as well as a completed sponsorship form if you have used one.

Yes, there are a number of ways you can do this. Once you have signed up and set up a team, you will receive a link to your email that you can send to others to sign up and join your team. Alternatively, when you are signing up, you can select the option to ‘Allow anyone to join my team’. This will add a join button on your team fundraising page allowing anyone to sign up and join your team.
