Event details

The Great North Run is iconic. It's one of the world's most popular half marathons. Nearly 60,000 runners will take to the streets of Newcastle in 2024. Starting in Town Moor park, the route will navigate over the Tyne Bridge and through Gateshead before finishing in South Shields.

Charity place entries into the Great North Run have now closed.

Own place entry

If you've secured your own place with the race organisers for the 2024 Great North Run, you can still run for Team Parkinson's. Our suggested fundraising target is £150. We'll be there to cheer you on at the 2024 race!
