Our why …
Fisher Brothers Great North Run 2026
This year the three Fisher brothers - Lewis, Nathan and Jamie - will be taking on the Great North Run together. Nathan and Jamie will be pushing Lewis in his wheelchair for the entire 13.1 miles.
We’re doing this in support of Parkinson’s, a cause that means so much to our family. We sadly lost our Grandad Bob to Parkinson’s, and we also see the impact it has every day as our Uncle Alan lives with the condition.
Taking on this challenge together is our way of honouring our grandad, supporting our uncle, and helping raise money to fund vital research, improve treatments, and support families affected by Parkinson’s.
We are fundraising together, with Lewis and Nathan sharing one fundraising page, and Jamie having a separate fundraising page, but we will all be taking on the challenge side by side on the day. But we all must reach our individual goals.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference and will help keep us motivated through the miles. Thank you so much for your support, it should for sure be a challenging but rewarding experience.
Thank you to our sponsors
