About this event

Take on Manchester's most popular half marathon alongside thousands of other runners! Starting and finishing at Old Trafford, this 13.1 mile run will take you through the lively streets of Manchester. In true Mancunian style, you can expect high energy, live music performances along the route and fantastic support all the way to the finish line.

This flat route is perfect for all levels of runners, whether you're taking on your first half marathon or looking to beat your personal best. Join Team Parkinson's for 2026!

Your fundraising page

Your fundraising page will be automatically set up when you register. Just give it a personal touch and share it! All fundraising from our Manchester Half Marathon team will go towards the Nurse Appeal, which is helping to make sure people with Parkinson's have the specialist care they deserve.

In 2026, join our team and help us achieve our fundraising target of:

£43,000

£350 could pay for a nurse to receive an education bursery to attend a managing Parkinson's course for two weeks.

£1,125 could pay for 1 week of an Allied Health Professional's time. This could be a nutritionist to help a person living with Parkinson's to eat healthily or a physiotherapist to help a patient keep active.

£2,700 could pay for 10 days of specialist nurse time to meet with a person living with Parkinson's, offering them advice and support to help them have a better quality of life.

How we’ll support you:

  • A free Parkinson's UK running top
  • Tailored email updates including training tips from an expert coach
  • Access to a range of fundraising materials and advice
  • Amazing on the day support at our Parkinson's UK cheerpoint
  • Invitations to our exclusive social media groups.
