I'm fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Manchester Half Marathon 2026 to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK. 

I know first hand how Parkinson's affects a person, my dear mum was diagnosed 20 years ago.  This is a cruel illness and I wish to raise funds to help those who are also affected.

We’re Parkinson’s UK. The charity that’s here to support every Parkinson’s journey, every step of the way. Wherever you’re from, whatever you need.
 
We don’t wait for change, we make it happen. We believe that together we’ll find a cure. But that’s not all we’re working for. We campaign for better health and care, fund research into groundbreaking new treatments, and run life-changing support services.

Thank you to everyone who has sponsored me so far.  I am blown away with the support I have received.  Training is going well, at the end of the summer I went hiking in The Lakes and covered the distance whilst admiring the stunning scenery.  Very grateful to be able to do this fundraiser.
