I am running for Parkinson’s UK in memory of my Granddad

My name is Arin and I’m running the Manchester half marathon 2026 to raise money for Parkinson’s UK.

In 2019 my grandad passed away after a 5 year battle with Parkinson’s. It was heartbreaking to see his personality and health deteriorate because of Parkinson’s.

In the UK 1 in every 37 people will are diagnosed with Parkinson’s in their lifetime with over 10,000,000 affected by the condition in the world.

Parkinson’s UK is a charity who is researching to try and find a cure to this tragic disease so people around the world don’t have to suffer like my grandad did.
