About this event

Challenge yourself at the Cardiff Half Marathon and help raise vital funds for the Parkinson's community. Starting out from Cardiff Castle, you'll race past the beautiful Penarth Marina and around Cardiff Bay, before looping around Roath Park Lake on your way to the finish line.

You'll see some of Cardiff's best sights and most iconic landmarks along the way. The flat and fast road-based course is perfect for beginners or experienced runners trying to hit a personal best!

In 2026, join our team for the Cardiff Half Marathon and help us achieve our fundraising target of:

£96,500

£195 could fund a day's work for a research assistant preparing samples of brain tissue, helping find clues to the causes of Parkinson's.

£540 could fund a home visit from one of our Parkinson's local advisers, helping a person living with Parkinson's navigate the complex challenges of social care, benefits and employment issues.

£2,250 could fund 2 weeks of work for a speech and language therapist, helping people living with Parkinson's gain confidence in being heard and understood.
