Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I’m walking to support Parkinson’s research and awareness because this disease has affected my family personally. My great-grandfather lived with Parkinson’s, and my grandma is now living with Parkinson’s, so this cause means a lot to me. I’m walking in their honour and to help support better treatments, research, and care for everyone facing Parkinson’s today.

Why we are walking…
Wednesday 20th MayThis year my family and I are taking part in the Essex Walk for Parkinson’s — a cause that’s very personal to us. In addition to caring for people with this disease, my great-grandfather lived with Parkinson’s, and my Grandma now lives with Parkinson’s. Seeing the impact it has on individuals and families is something we won’t forget.
We’re walking in their honour and to help raise money for better treatments, support services, and hopefully one day a cure.
