Team Big Wrig' – Walking for Parkinson’s
We're walking to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care for the thousands of people who urgently need it.
On 6th June 2026, my family and I will be taking part in Walk for Parkinson’s, and we’ll be joined by our team mascot, Wrigley, our 6‑month‑old (and already 25kg) Labrador pup. Proudly named Team Big Wrig', we’re walking with purpose, hope, and a lot of dog hair.
Last year, my wonderful Dad, Gareth, was diagnosed with Parkinson’s after symptoms began taking his fine motor skills and the use of his hands and arms. Thanks to medication and support, he’s adapting well, but we know not every family has the same access to help when they need it most.
Parkinson’s has also touched my mum’s side of the family. Familial Parkinson’s took the lives of my Auntie Sybil and my great‑grandfather. So this cause isn’t just important to us; it’s personal.
By donating, you’ll help ensure more people with Parkinson’s, and those who love and care for them, get the support, treatment, and specialist services they deserve.
Thank you so much for supporting us and cheering on Team Big Wrig'. Every step makes a difference. 💙🐾
