Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

I’m a happy runner and lead my own group of social runners, most of whom are learning a language with me at my language school in Consett - hence the idea to name the group ‘LinguaRun’!
Not a stranger to the event, this is actually the second time that I am taking part in the Great North Run where the extra motivation is to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK.
I know that everyone knows someone who is affected and every bit of sponsorship and all money raised will help fund breakthroughs and help support the Parkinson's community.
