Walk for Parkinson's: Surrey 2026

Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

I’m walking to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care to thousands more people who urgently need it.

Thousands of us are uniting to help people with Parkinson’s, and those who love and care for them, get access to the support they need.

Incredible, you lovely lot

Sunday 13th Sep

Incredible news—we’ve officially passed £600 raised in a single day for Parkinson’s UK! That directly funds 17 hours of dedicated care from specialist nurses.
The walk for Parkinson's was definitely a challenge, packed with steep hills and uneven ground, but Atlas completely smashed it. He was the only kid out there on the longer route and by far the youngest! We are so proud of him and the whole family, the brilliant Bonnie joined us too! Everest came over the finish line with us joining for the last 10 minutes.  Dad would have loved every minute of today, and spotting all those black cabs on the way home felt like his way of saying he was right there with us ❤️.

Walk for my Dad / Grandad

Saturday 12th Sep
This Sunday, my 11-year-old son Atlas, my mum, and I are taking part in the Walk for Parkinson's in loving memory of my dad, raising awareness for a disease that receives far too little support. Yesterday would have been my mum and dad's 50th golden wedding anniversary, making this walk feel especially apt and deeply personal for our family. Atlas is determined to raise £50 to help train and support Parkinson's nurses, whose care and expertise are truly invaluable to families navigating this diagnosis. If you are able to spare even a few pennies to help us reach his goal and honour my dad's memory, we would be incredibly grateful for your support.
