Walk for my Dad / Grandad
This Sunday, my 11-year-old son Atlas, my mum, and I are taking part in the Walk for Parkinson's in loving memory of my dad, raising awareness for a disease that receives far too little support. Yesterday would have been my mum and dad's 50th golden wedding anniversary, making this walk feel especially apt and deeply personal for our family. Atlas is determined to raise Ā£50 to help train and support Parkinson's nurses, whose care and expertise are truly invaluable to families navigating this diagnosis.
