Why I'm fundraising for Parkinson's UK
In 2019, our mum was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Since then, she has faced daily challenges with incredible strength and determination, always doing her best to stay as fit and active as possible. Despite everything, she continues to be the rock of our family - supporting us, inspiring us, and making us proud every single day.
So when Mum suggested taking on the Parkinson’s UK 100 Mile Challenge this month, my sister Becky and I didn’t hesitate to say yes. This challenge means so much to us. It’s not just about the miles - it’s about standing beside her, showing our support, and raising awareness for a condition that affects so many families.
Together, we’ll be walking 100 miles across the month, supporting each other every step of the way - just as Mum has always supported us.
If you’re able to, we would be so grateful for any donation, big or small. Your support will help fund vital research and services for those living with Parkinson’s.
Thank you so much for your support 💙
