Monday 1st Dec After Sam and me both failed again in our attempts to get in to the London Marathon via either the general ballot (1 in 20 chance) and the ballot for a running club place (1 in 6 chance) we decided to go for the Charity route, in Brighton.We'll both be running for Parkinson's UK - a cause which is close to us as Mum has the disease.
It'll be Sam's first marathon and my 10th. But my first since becoming a full-time athlete (aka retired).
