Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
On 7 September, I'm joining my family's 'Parkinson's Plodders' team led by my Mum and Dad (hence the plod 😄) for a walking event in London's Battersea Park to raise funds for Parkinson's UK 💙
This is so that people like my lovely Mum and everyone living with Parkinson's can continue to benefit from everything the charity offers ... namely access to information, invaluable support services, funding for specialist healthcare, and research for new treatments.
Whilst I am very much a plodder in pretty much everything I do 🙄, this will be a walk in the park for me (literally!) after my recent marathon hike, however, this event is not about the distance, instead it's about family, gathering together and connecting with others to raise awareness and funds to improve life for those with Parkinson's and those who love and care for them 🤗
All donations very much appreciated.
Thank you 🙏🏻
