Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Parkinson’s is something that I’ve grown up around my whole life. My dad is living with the condition, and both my grandparents were also affected by Parkinson’s. 

I’ve witnessed first hand some of the challenges that Parkinson’s can bring. It’s a condition that has touched my family for many years, which is why supporting Parkinson’s UK means so much to me. 

I’m taking part in the walk for Parkinson’s UK in Liverpool to help raise money for the incredible work they do, supporting people living with Parkinson’s and funding vital research into better treatments and one day, a cure. 

If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, I’d be incredibly grateful. If you are unable to donate, sharing my fundraiser with friends and family would mean just as much. Every donation and share helps raise awareness and supports the millions of people affected by Parkinson’s.
