Why we are fundraising for Parkinson's UK
We are taking part in the walk for Parkinson’s UK in Liverpool to help raise money for the incredible work they do, supporting people living with Parkinson’s and funding vital research into better treatments and one day, a cure.
Parkinson’s is something that our family has grown up around our whole lives. My dad is living with the condition, and both my grandparents were also affected by Parkinson’s.
We’ve witnessed and experienced first hand some of the challenges that Parkinson’s can bring. It’s a condition that has touched our family for many years, which is why supporting Parkinson’s UK means so much to us.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, I’d be incredibly grateful. If you are unable to donate, sharing my fundraiser with friends and family would mean just as much. Every donation and share helps raise awareness and supports the millions of people affected by Parkinson’s.
