About this event

Take on the Hackney Half for Parkinson's UK and challenge yourself while helping fund groundbreaking research and life-changing support services. Starting out from Hackney Marshes, you'll experience some of the most historic and popular sights of East London, including London Fields, Broadway Market, Victoria Park and Hackney Wick.

The flat and fast course makes this a perfect event for runners of all abilities, whether you're taking on your first half marathon or trying to set a new PB. With live music and enthusiastic spectators, you'll be energised all the way to the festival at the finish line.

Join our team in 2027 for the Hackney Half Marathon and help us achieve our fundraising target of:

£239,000

£195 could fund a research assistant for a day to prepare brain tissue samples and uncover clues about the causes of Parkinson’s.

£500 could fund the equipment and local pitch hire to set up a walking football group, supporting people to get active.

£2,250 could fund two weeks of work for a speech and language therapist, helping people living with Parkinson’s gain confidence in being heard and understood.
