Why I’m running the Great North Run
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
On the 12th September 2027, I’ll be taking part in the Great North Run to raise vital funds for Parkinson’s Uk.
The reason I want to complete this challenge is for my grandma who lives with Parkinson’s.
My grandparents have always been some of my biggest supporters and continue to do so every day, so I thought it’s about time i give something back. Doing this run will be a massive achievement for me and a moment I will never forget, especially because I’m running for Parkinson’s Uk.
Seeing the impact that Parkinson’s can have in someone’s life isn’t very nice sometimes. But rather than letting that take over, I want to do something positive with it.
Taking part in the Great North Run is my way of giving something back to my grandma who lives with Parkinson’s , while raising awareness and much needed funds for everyone living with Parkinson’s and the families who support them.
I’m hoping to raise as much as I possible can to help Parkinson’s UK provide vital advice, support, and information to people affected by the condition. No matter how big or small, every donation will make a difference and will mean so much to me and my family.
If you’re able to sponsor me, I would be incredibly grateful.
Thank you for supporting me, my grandma, and everyone living with Parkinson’s.
