Why I’m Fundraising for Parkinson’s UK ❤️
I’m fundraising for Parkinson’s UK in memory of my grandma(nanny) and grandad(farvie), who both sadly passed away from Parkinson’s disease within around a year of each other.
Losing them both was incredibly difficult for my family, and Parkinson’s is a cause that means a great deal to me personally. I want to take on this challenge in their memory and do something positive to help other families who are going through the same experience.
By fundraising for Parkinson’s UK, I hope to help support vital research into better treatments and, one day, a cure, while also helping people living with Parkinson’s and their loved ones.
This challenge is about more than just reaching the finish line. It’s about honouring my grandparents, keeping their memory alive and raising money for a cause that has affected my family so deeply.
Any donation, no matter how big or small, would mean a lot to me and help make a difference to others affected by Parkinson’s.
