Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
This year, I am taking part in the Great North Run to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK, a charity that has become especially important to me since my Grandad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2022. Seeing the challenges he faces has highlighted the need for better support, awareness, and research into this condition.
Parkinson’s UK works tirelessly to improve the lives of those affected by Parkinson’s, offering vital resources to individuals and their families while funding essential research to advance treatments and work towards a cure.
By running the Great North Run, I hope to contribute to their efforts and make a positive impact. Any support you can offer will help Parkinson’s UK continue their important work and is greatly appreciated.
Thank you to my sponsors
