Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Walking in memory of our truly wonderful Dad who battled Parkinson’s to the very end.
Diagnosed in 2018 with Parkinson’s. In April 2019 our Dad walked the 1.5 miles at The Helix, determined and with a smile. Every day he batted but seldom did he complain. In April 2024 he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease dementia (PDD). Sadly towards the end of July he was admitted to hospital after a fall, he developed Sepsis and died in August 2024.
Nobody will ever come close to you Dad. You are missed more than you ever know.
