Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Parkinsons is a horrible disease that effect many. We know first hand as my mother in law suffered with it for many year before sadly passing away in 2024.
Everyones heard of it but if you dont know exactly what it is ....it's a progressive neurological movement disorder occurring when nerve cells in the brain die, reducing dopamine - which is vital for smooth, controlled body movement.
We don’t wait for change, we make it happen. We believe that together we’ll find a cure. But that’s not all we’re working for. We campaign for better health and care, fund research into groundbreaking new treatments, and run life-changing support services.
At Ewell Cricket Club we believe in a strong community and a group of adults and juniors are cycling from London to Brighton in support of this great cause. Please sponsor us if you can.
