Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
On 11th October, my brother and I are running the Royal Parks half marathon in aid of Parkinson's UK.
About 166,000 people in the UK are currently living with Parkinson's. While there is no cure (yet!), the support that charities like Parkinson's UK give those living with the condition is invaluable. Since my Dad was diagnosed, they have provided so much support and a community that has helped him continue to live a full life.
As many of you will have guessed, I am very much not a good runner, so training for this has been a real challenge. However, I'm excited to keep up the preparation and (eventually) make it over the finish line!
Any amount you can donate would be hugely appreciated and will make a major difference to helping them continue to provide such brilliant support.
Keep running my king
