Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

On 13 September 2026, I’ll be taking on the Great North Run to raise vital funds for Parkinson’s UK—a cause that means so much to me and my family.
I’m running alongside my brother James and my sister Rachael in memory of our amazing grandma, who we sadly lost this year. She meant the world to us, and this challenge is our way of honouring her while supporting others affected by Parkinson’s.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help fund groundbreaking research and provide essential support to people living with Parkinson’s and their families.

Tuesday 1st SepThis year I’m taking on the Great North Run for Parkinson’s UK, in memory of my amazing Grandma. ❤️
It’s a challenge I’m really looking forward to, and I’m running it for a great cause that means a lot to me.
Parkinson’s UK supports people living with Parkinson’s and their families, while funding research into better treatments and a cure.
