L O V E
Hello, my name is Marisol. I’m 28 years old and I’m from Mexico. I’ve always believed that movement is a celebration of life. I love exercising, being outdoors, and pushing myself beyond what I think are my limits. For me, every challenge is an opportunity to grow, not just physically, but emotionally.
Last year, I had the incredible opportunity to run my first race in support of an autism association. That experience changed me. Running with purpose gave every step meaning.
Today, I am running for something deeply personal.
I am a nanny to a wonderful child with autism who holds a very special place in my heart. When you care for a child, you don’t just care for them, you care for their whole world. His family has become my family. Recently, his grandfather was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. Watching someone you love face such a difficult diagnosis brings a mix of emotions: sadness, strength, uncertainty, and hope.
That is why I have chosen to run a half marathon (21K) in support of Parkinson’s UK.
This race is more than a physical challenge for me. It is a symbol of love, solidarity, and gratitude for a family that has given me so much. Every kilometer I run will be dedicated to them, to resilience, to courage, and to the hope that through research and support, lives can be improved.
From the bottom of my heart, I am running to help, to raise awareness, and to spread the joy and determination that running has given me. If you are able to support this cause, you are not only supporting me, you are supporting families like ours who face Parkinson’s with strength and love every single day.
Thank you for being part of this journey💖
With Love, Marisol🌻
