Walk for Parkinson's: Maidstone 2025

Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

I’m walking to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care to thousands more people who urgently need it.

Thousands of us are uniting to help people with Parkinson’s, and those who love and care for them, get access to the support they need.

We'll be walking for for Parkinson's UK!

Friday 28th Mar

Parkinson's is the fastest-growing neurological condition in the world, and currently, there is no cure. In the UK, around 153,000 people are already living with Parkinson’s. With population growth and ageing, this is likely to increase to around 172,000 people in the UK by 2030. Every hour, 2 more people are diagnosed. That's the same as 18,000 people every year.

Our dad has had Parkinson's for several years, and we care for him.

Our whole family, dad included, will be walking to support the work of Parkinson's UK. We're walking to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care to thousands more people who urgently need it.

Many more people are uniting to help people with Parkinson’s, and those who love and care for them, get access to the support they need.
