Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
As many of you will know, my Grandad recently passed away. He had a diagnosis of Parkinson's and he received brilliant care to improve the quality of his life.
Even when the Parkinson's was making my grandad's life difficult, he was supported to ensure that he never lost his quick witty-ness and amazing character that so many of us loved!
My Dad and I are walking in memory of Grandad to raise funds as a thanks to all the amazing carers/nurses/specialists who supported my grandad and my family over the last few years!
