Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
This July, me and my friend Niamh are doing a 5.8-mile walk to raise money for Parkinson’s UK.
Parkinson’s is a condition that affects the brain and gets worse over time. It can make everyday things—like moving around or speaking—really difficult, and there are over 145,000 people in the UK living with it right now.
There’s no cure yet, but there’s currently lots of important work being done to change that. Parkinson’s UK helps fund research, supports people living with the condition, and works to make life better for everyone affected.
By taking part in this walk, I’m hoping to raise money and awareness about Parkinsons.
If you’re able to donate anything at all, I’d be super grateful.
Thank you!
