Walk for Parkinson's: London 2026

Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

I’m walking to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care to thousands more people who urgently need it.

Thousands of us are uniting to help people with Parkinson’s, and those who love and care for them, get access to the support they need.

Our story

Friday 31st Jul
On 5th September Roy and I will be taking part in the Walk for Parkinson's in Battersea Park.
Since Roy's Parkinson's diagnosis, life has changed in ways we didn't expect. There have been some difficult moments, but we've also discovered incredible kindness and support. Rather than letting Parkinson's define us, we're choosing to face it together—one step at a time.
One of the greatest sources of support has been the Parkinson's nurses. During a particularly difficult time recently, when I didn't know where to turn, they listened, reassured and gave me the practical advice I needed. Knowing someone understands what you're going through can make all the difference.
That's why we're raising money for Parkinson's UK's Nurse Appeal, helping to fund specialist Parkinson's nurses so that more people living with Parkinson's—and their families—can receive the same expert support when they need it most.
Every donation, whatever the amount, will help make a real difference.
Thank you so much for your kindness, encouragement and support. ❤️
