Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
This July I'm doing a fundraising walk for Parkinson's UK.
My Dad was diagnosed with Parkinson's a few years ago, and seeing the impact it's had on him has made this a cause that's very close to my heart. I've seen the challenges he's had to overcome, but also the strength and determination he's shown along the way. (We call it stubbornness)
I'm taking part to support the brilliant people who help my Dad on his journey and to raise awareness of Parkinson's and the realities of living with it. There are so many people working hard to make life better for those affected, but there's still a long way to go.
If you'd like to support me with a donation, I'd be incredibly grateful. Every pound raised helps support people living with Parkinson's and funds research into finding better treatments and, hopefully one day, a cure.
Thanks for your support, it genuinely means a lot.
