Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I’ve decided to take on the Cardiff Half Marathon this year, not just as a personal challenge, but for a cause that means a great deal to me.
Parkinson’s is something that has touched my family directly. Seeing a loved one live with this condition has given me a deeper understanding of how it affects everyday life. It’s a journey that comes with challenges, strength, and resilience.
That’s why I’m running to support Parkinson’s UK. Every step I take is about raising awareness and helping to fund vital research that could lead to better treatments, improved support, and one day, a cure.
Running a half marathon is nothing compared to what individuals with Parkinsons deal with on a day to day basis. So If I can make even a small difference by doing this, then every kilometer will be worth it.
If you’re able to support, share, or simply cheer me on, it would mean the world. 💙
Good luck ❤️❤️ you will smash it xx
