Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
In memory of our Dad we will be walking to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care to thousands more people who urgently need it.
Thousands of us are uniting to help people with Parkinson’s, and those who love and care for them, get access to the support they need.
On the 5th December 2025, we lost our incredible Dad to Parkinson’s after years of watching this cruel disease slowly take so much from him. He was a loving husband, the best granddad, and a truly special man who meant everything to us.
On the 21st June 2026, Father’s Day, my family and I will be coming together to take on a charity walk in his memory. It feels like a meaningful way to honour him, doing something together as a family – just as he would have loved.
We are also raising money for Parkinson’s UK to support the amazing work they do for those living with Parkinson’s and their families. From specialist nurses to vital research, every donation helps make a difference.
I’ve set a target of £150, and if you’re able to donate even a small amount, it would mean so much to us and to others facing this disease.
