Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

My father was diagnosed with early onset Parkinson’s almost five years ago. This diagnosis, being without a cure, has come with a somewhat overwhelming helplessness.

This charity event allows us the opportunity to make a difference. In circumstances like these, helplessness is relieved by purpose which is a genuine gift.

This charity is incredibly important to my family and I and serves as a source of hope amidst a seemingly hopeless situation.
