Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Cardiff Half Marathon for Parkinson’s UK and would really appreciate your support! 

This is a cause that is very near and dear to my heart, as I have a close relative who lives with Parkinson’s disease. Some days are good, some days aren’t - yet they’re resilient and find ways to adapt and make the most of every situation.

Parkinson’s research is massively underfunded and research institutions have been begging for sustainable funding in order to help find ways to both manage symptoms and improve their quality of life… as well as developing ways to detect the disease early, or even slow/stop it.
