Why I’m fundraising for Parkinson’s UK

This cause is really close to my heart as not only has it affected my family, with my Grandad having been diagnosed before I was born, but also the family of my closest friend with her Dad, Kev, being diagnosed in August 2024.

My recent role in the NHS allowed me to directly support those living with Parkinson’s and witness some of the daily challenges which face them. 
Sincere conversations with families have shown me how significant an early diagnosis can be in supporting their loved one’s quality of life - which further transcend into the wider family around them. 

With Parkinson’s UK campaigning for widespread awareness of early symptoms and continued support for those affected by the condition, like Grandad Chris and Kev, donations are its key driver in facilitating the reach of all their efforts across the nation. 

All donations will directly go to the to this incredible charity - so I thank you for any level of support that you're able to kindly offer. 

I cannot wait to get going on Sunday 4th - and smash this £300 target for Grandad Chris and Kev! 💜
