Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
On 6th September I'll be running the Big Half in support of Parkinson's UK. My father-in-law, Alan Nixon, was diagnosed with Parkinson's last year, and seeing first-hand how much this condition affects both individuals and families has made this cause feel very close to home.
Running the Big Half feels like a small way of doing something meaningful and hopefully raising some money and awareness along the way for a charity that is close to me.
