Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
In July, I'll be running/walking/plodding/crying my way along 100km of pristine Wessex countryside, to raise money for two charities that mean an awful lot to me.
The first is BEAT - the UK's eating disorder charity. My little sister suffered from Anorexia, and I'll be trudging my way through this race for her. Eating disorders are nasty, insidious illnesses that can get the better of the best of us. BEAT do a phenomenal job supporting those who are ill, and those who care for and about them. Dig deep, if you can.

The second is Parkinson's UK - a top notch charity doing top notch work, whose goal is simply to improve life with Parkinson's. It's a disease that affects all too many, including my family, so anything you can donate would mean the world.
