Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

In September 2027, I'll be taking on the Great North Run to raise vital funds for Parkinson's UK, a charity that has become incredibly important to my family.

In 2024, my dad, Jimmy, was diagnosed with Parkinson's. Seeing first-hand the challenges that Parkinson's can bring has made this cause deeply personal to me. That's why I'm determined to play my small part in supporting the amazing work Parkinson's UK does for people living with the condition and their families.

Parkinson's UK funds groundbreaking research into better treatments and, ultimately, a cure. They also provide essential information, advice and support to the Parkinson's community every day.

Every mile I run will be for my dad and for everyone affected by Parkinson's. Any donation, no matter how big or small, will make a real difference and be hugely appreciated.

Thank you for your support.
