Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
We’re walking to raise awareness for the progressive neurological disease that most people know very little about…myself included, until my Mum was diagnosed with it recently.
As if a normal day with 3 kids aged 3 and under and a stroppy pre-teen wasn’t hard enough…we’ve decided to all complete a charity walk to raise some awareness and money for Parkinson’s. We may even include the dog, you know…just to make it extra chaotic 🤭🫣
The 6 mile walk itself would take the average person 2 hours…but it takes these kids approx. 17 hours to eat a bowl of cereal most days…so your donation to make it more bearable would be gratefully appreciated 🫶🏼
We’re also walking to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care for those who need it 🫶🏼
