Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! I’m taking part in the Saucony London 10K for Parkinson’s UK in memory of my mum, Trish, and would really appreciate your support!
Please help by sponsoring my challenge. All money raised will help fund breakthroughs and help support the Parkinson's community.
My mum has always been a real inspiration to me. She had it from a relatively young age (44) and Parkinson's UK provided a lot of support over the years - they were always at the end of the phone when we'd need some advice.
Mum and Dad helped me move to London in the mid 2000s, and they'd often come to visit, so it's nice to have that link when running the London 10K in memory of Trish.
I first got into running in 2024 to help me get fit for Tae Kwon Do competitions around the UK, and Mum used to take me along to TKD sessions twice a week when I first started that, as a kid.
This will be my second time running the London 10K in memory of Trish - it was such an amazing experience last year that I couldn't resist doing it again in 2026.
Thanks everyone!
