Walk for Parkinson's: Leeds 2025

Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

Recently, my dad was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. It’s been a huge shock for our family and a hard pill to swallow. We’re learning every day what living with Parkinson’s really means.

He has always been my role model – strong, caring, and a happy go lucky kind of guy – and seeing him face this has been incredibly hard for us all.

That’s why I’ve decided to take part in a fundraising walk – to raise awareness and much-needed funds for research, support, and care for those affected. Every step I take will be for my dad, and for the many others who face the challenges of parkinsons disease.

Parkinson’s is progressive, and while there’s currently no cure, incredible work is being done to improve treatments and provide vital support.

If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, it would mean the world to me and my family. Together, we can bring hope to those living with Parkinson’s and move closer to finding a cure.

💙 Thank you for your kindness and support.
