Walk for Parkinson's: Leeds 2025

Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

I’m walking to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care to thousands more people who urgently need it.

Thousands of us are uniting to help people with Parkinson’s, and those who love and care for them, get access to the support they need.

Walking for Parkinson's UK: A Cause Close to My Heart

Saturday 26th Jul

As many of you know, Parkinson’s disease has had a personal impact on my family—my wonderful dad is living with Parkinson’s, and it’s been a challenging journey for him and all of us. He is the inspiration behind this walk. Despite the daily challenges he faces, he continues to show incredible strength and resilience, and it’s because of him that we are walking to raise awareness and funds for this important cause.

That’s why I’m teaming up with my family and my little dog, Rudy, to take part in a 6.1-mile walk to raise funds for Parkinson’s UK. This charity is close to my heart because of the support it offers families like mine, the vital research it funds, and the awareness it spreads about this condition that affects millions of people worldwide.

We’ll be walking in honor of my dad and for everyone who’s battling Parkinson’s every day. Every donation—big or small—makes a difference in helping find better treatments and improving the lives of those with Parkinson’s.

Please consider donating to this important cause. Your support means the world to us!

Thank you for helping us make a difference! 💙
