Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
I’m taking part in Walkies for Parkinson's to help fund specialist Parkinson’s care to thousands more people who urgently need it.
Thousands of us are uniting to help people with Parkinson’s, and those who love and care for them, get access to the support they need.

Walkies for Parkinson’s
Thursday 18th SepWalking 60 Miles for Parkinson’s: Our Journey
This October, Me, Natalie, Daisy, Bella, and Chunk (our four-legged motivators!) set ourselves a challenge: to walk 60 miles throughout the month to raise awareness and support for Parkinson’s.
Parkinson’s is a condition that affects so many lives. We wanted to do something meaningful, something that would push us a little, bring us together, and contribute in any way.
The Team
- Me & Natalie – Determined to keep each other accountable and motivated, even on the days when the weather isn’t kind.
- Daisy & Bella – Our furry cheerleaders, always excited to get those extra steps in (and sniff every corner along the way).
- Chunk – The powerhouse of the group, dragging us out when we’d otherwise be tempted to stay on the sofa!
Why We’re Doing It
We’re walking for awareness, for fundraising, and most importantly, for everyone living with Parkinson’s. It’s our way of showing support and contributing to the incredible research and care efforts that are making a difference.
How You Can Help
If you’d like to support our challenge, donations—big or small—mean the world. They help fund vital research and provide resources for those affected. Even just sharing our journey spreads awareness, and that’s just as valuable.
