Great North Run 2027

Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK

I’m taking on the Great North Run 2027 for a cause that is incredibly close to my heart. Parkinson’s runs in my family, and my grandad is living with the condition. Seeing the impact Parkinson’s has had on him and on our family has made me realise just how difficult and unpredictable the disease can be.

I’m running to raise money for Parkinson’s UK, so that other people living with Parkinson’s, and their families, can have the support they need. I also hope that the money raised can help fund vital research into better treatments and, one day, a cure.

This run will be a huge personal challenge, but knowing that every mile is helping to support people affected by Parkinson’s will give me the motivation to keep going. If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, I would be incredibly grateful. Every donation will help make a difference to families like mine. ❤️

Thank you so much for your support.
