Why I am fundraising for Parkinson's UK
On 7th June, I'll be taking part in the Walk for Parkinson's UK in Kent.
Both my grandmother and my soon-to-be mother-in-law both live with Parkinson's. For those who aren't familiar, Parkinson's is a progressive neurological condition. It develops when nerve cells in the brain that produce dopamine are gradually lost, which affects movement (tremors, stiffness, slowness of motion) along with sleep, mood, fatigue, and a whole range of other things. There isn't yet a cure, and the symptoms tend to become harder to manage over time.
Parkinson's UK funds research, support, and information for everyone affected, and every pound raised goes towards that work.
If you're able to spare anything, however small, I'd be hugely grateful

Wishing all the best for a lovely day. Thank you all for taking the time to raise money for this. Something that it is likely to have an impact on all of us at some point in our lives.
