About this event

Take on the Welshpool 10K Run for Parkinson's UK and challenge yourself while helping fund groundbreaking research and life-changing support services.

Starting and finishing on the high street in Welshpool town centre, you'll run along a fully closed-road route through the town and the scenic grounds and rolling hills of the Powis Castle Estate.

The Welshpool 10K Run is a perfect event for runners of all abilities, whether you're taking on your first 10K or trying to set a new PB.

Join our team in 2027 for the Welshpool 10K Run and help us achieve our fundraising target of:

£5,000

£195 could fund a research assistant for a day to prepare brain tissue samples and uncover clues about the causes of Parkinson’s.

£500 could fund the equipment and local pitch hire to set up a walking football group, supporting people to get active.

£2,250 could fund two weeks of work for a speech and language therapist, helping people living with Parkinson’s gain confidence in being heard and understood.
