About the route

Starting from Princes Dock, both routes wind around the waterfront, passing local landmarks and monuments such as the Liver Building and The Beatles Statue. The long route completes a loop of Albert Dock and its famous red-brick buildings.

Both routes feature hardstanding paths throughout, consisting of a mix of tarmac, slabs, and cobbles. The short route has a brief section (approximately 10 meters) of fine cobbles at the start and end of the walk.
