About this event

The TCS Sydney Marathon will join the World Marathon Major series in 2026 as the 7th Major for the second year. Following a record-breaking year in 2025 as Australia's most popular marathon, the event is expecting 35,000 marathon runners on race day.

£195 could fund a day's work for a research assistant preparing samples of brain tissue, helping find clues to the causes of Parkinson’s.

£540 could fund a home visit from one of our Parkinson’s local advisers, helping a person living with Parkinson’s navigate the complex challenges of social care, benefits and employment issues.

£2,250 could fund 2 weeks of work for a speech and language therapist, helping people living with Parkinson’s gain confidence in being heard and understood.
