About this event

Challenge yourself at one of Europe's most popular half marathons and help raise vital funds for the Parkinson's community. Along the way, you'll see some of the city's best sights and most iconic landmarks.

Starting out from Cardiff Castle, you'll race past the beautiful Penarth Marina and around Cardiff Bay, before looping around Roath Park Lake on your way to the finish line. WIth a flat and fast road-based course and thousands of supporters cheering you on, the Cardiff Half Marathon is perfect for beginners or experienced runners trying to hit a personal best.

In 2027, join our team for the Cardiff Half Marathon and help us achieve our fundraising target of:

£96,500

£190 could fund a day's work for a research assistant preparing samples of brain tissue, helping find clues to the causes of Parkinson’s.

£500 could fund the equipment and local pitch hire to set up a walking football group, supporting people to get active.

£2,500 could fund a Parkinson's specialist physiotherapist for two weeks, helping with Parkinson's to keep active.
